In what increasingly became dense fog as the morning progressed, a triangulation of matches between mixed Braintree sides, Brentwood and Wendens Ambo saw Braintree's Under 11's win 3 of their 4 matches.

Stalwart George Clarke opened the scoring in the first match with a try in the early minutes of the match, but the boys just couldn't regain their usual discipline and Wendens Ambo broke through their defences to win 20 to Braintree's 5.

The boys were not to be down hearted and in their second game, which was against Brentwood they came back with a resounding victory to hold their heads up high with a final score line of Braintree 35, Brentwood 0.

They had their mojo back and in a re-match against Wendens Ambo, they won through. Wendens tried hard to break the lads defensive line with some hard tackles, but to no avail. The score was nil/nil at halftime and Oscar Letch went flat out to put the ball down over the line and score the only try of the match. Braintree won 5/0.

The final match saw Braintree play Brentwood again. Brentwood were determined, but not enough. Samuel Everitt scored both tries of this match putting Braintree ahead in their forth match of the morning winning 10/0.
