A perfect day for running rugby, a firm pitch and dry conditions. The game was fairly even in the early exchanges, both sides trying to play an open game. It was the B’tree No.8 Elliott that got the first score with a well worked catch & drive over the line from a lineout. Both teams tried their best to break through each others defence, it was left to the B’tree winger Harry to show good strength in getting the second score. Eton Manor were determined to get on the scoreboard, and just before half time managed the achieve this with an unconverted try of their own. The Eton Manor side came out with intent in the second half with a couple of their players asking questions of B’tree’s defence, but it was the home team that struck first in the half with the jinking fly-half Noah getting over the line. B’tree seemed to tire during the second half, which allowed E.Manor to score a further 2 try’s to set up a nervous finish. Thankfully, it was the home side that got the final score, with the consistent Fullback Ethan crossing the line.
Final Score 26 – 15.
Try’s – Elliott (1), Harry (1), Noah (1), Ethan (1)
