On a nearly spring morning, the boys lined up to face Westcliff and Woodford for an exciting morning of rugby.

The boys split into two teams Sharks and Marlins to get the most rugby played.

Both teams started very slowly, no urgency on the defensive line, or tackling, but then it began. The boys became teams, with a solid centre core pushing through the Westcliff / Woodford defence and gaining yards, the ball was then spread wide for some really dominating runs.

There was some great off loads and excellent passes, they really looked like they were enjoying themselves, there were some minor mistakes that let the oppostion through to score, but the boys re -grouped and got back on top of their game.

We made tackle after tackle to turn the ball over several times in a game, which was great to see, there was great encouragment between the boys, as they all started to tire but pushed through this to keep up the winning streak.

An excellent team performance by all, as a coach I can see the development of the squad improving match by match, which is very rewarding.

Keep it up lads,
