The trip to Thurrock on a lovely autumnal morning could of led to a free flowing game of rugby, what took place was a game of considerable scrum practise, as a result of a stop/start game of many handling errors and injuries on both teams. B'tree looked the more threatening when able to retain good possession, attacking with ball in hand to give the supporters something to applaud, Freddie Bearfield the 1st on the score sheet with some jinking running though the home defence, shortly followed by winger Charlie Booty who showed what he could do with ball in hand outpacing the opposition to score and deservedly go into half-time 2-0 up. The second half was more of the same in terms of the scrappy nature of the game but yet again it was B'tree showing ambition resulting in Ethan Scherer scoring the teams 3rd from fullback and Max Verguson rounding the match off with a 4th try to finish the game well deserved winners 4-0.
